Even non beauty lovers rave about Barry M nail polish and in my opinion the Gelly Hi Shine range is the cream of the crop.
With normal nail polish, even with a good top coat, I only ever get 2-3 days before it starts chipping. With the Gelly Hi Shine polishes, I can easily get 5 days out of them and by that point it’s generally because I want a change that I take it off rather than because it’s started chipping.
The polish itself is much thicker than normal, which I find makes the application really quick and easy and leaves my nails feeling really strong. It also dries within minutes, so no smudged nails when you wake up in the morning.
After two coats you are left with a really glossy, high shine finish, so much so that I’ve been asked quite a few times if I’ve had Shellac done! The only tip I would give is apply a base coat first, particularly with the stronger colours, as they do tend to stain your nails.
For £3.99 I think these polishes are an absolute bargain and I’m really looking forward to stocking up on the new colours due out next month.
